TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI is responsible for the impartial conduct of all conformity assessment activities. A structure has been created that is free from any commercial, financial, administrative or other pressures that may affect decisions and activities. This structure is guaranteed by the commitment of TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI senior management.

TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI has obtained the Declaration of Confidentiality and Impartiality from all its personnel and inspection and audit personnel in order to maintain impartiality.

This impartiality is kept under control by TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI’s Impartiality Committee and Internal Audits. Any situation that threatens its impartiality is evaluated by the Impartiality Committee, which meets periodically and operates independently of the senior management.

TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI senior management and personnel do not allow any commercial, financial or other internal and external pressures that may negatively affect the quality of the work performed and have arrangements to ensure that these pressures are not affected.

Conformity assessment services; It is carried out and managed within the framework of the principles of independence and impartiality. The final decision on conformity assessment is made by individuals and bodies independent of TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI partners.

TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI has guaranteed with its “Privacy Policy” that the confidentiality of the information obtained during the inspection and conformity assessment processes will be protected. It protects the copyright and patent rights of the institution to which it provides inspection and conformity assessment services.

All information, data and documents obtained during the services provided by real and legal persons operating in the private and public sectors to whom inspection, testing and conformity assessment services are provided, except for the part requested by the authorized institution(s) and accreditation institution(s) for their activities, cannot be given to third parties or published in public media for any purpose without the written permission of the right holder. The confidentiality of the information, data and documents belonging to real and legal persons to whom services are provided is the responsibility of TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI senior management and this confidentiality is and will be fully respected.

Conformity assessment and inspection information shall be kept confidential by TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI, unless otherwise provided by law.

When requested by a legal authority, it shall notify the customer of the information provided to the legal authority, unless legally prohibited from doing so.

Information obtained about the customer from sources other than the customer shall be deemed confidential.

TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI continuously assesses possible risks to ensure and maintain its impartiality and independence. This assessment includes risks arising from its activities, relationships or personnel relations. These relationships that may threaten TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI’s impartiality may be property, government, management, personnel, shared resources, finance, contracts, marketing (including brand) and payment of sales commissions or incentive payments for referral of new customers. TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI takes all precautions against these risks, but does not disclose these relationships to ensure absolute impartiality. If a risk to impartiality is identified, TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI will eliminate or minimize such risk.

TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI will not engage in any activity that would diminish confidence in its independence, competence, impartiality, judgment or integrity in its work.

All measures have been taken by TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI senior management against risks that may threaten the financial impartiality of the personnel and external auditors/experts involved in the conformity assessment process. The fees of the personnel, external auditors and experts are paid regardless of the audit results.

There is no and will not be any commercial relationship between TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI and all real and legal persons and sectors to which audit, testing and conformity assessment services are provided, outside the scope of the service provided. Any commercial relationship that may threaten impartiality with the sectors served and current/potential customers in the sector is handled by the Impartiality Protection Committee and in case of a violation of impartiality, the senior management will first be informed; if no correction is made, the accreditation body will be informed.

All TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI employees and external auditors and technical experts who take part in the conformity assessment service on behalf of TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI shall report their past work experience completely to TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI. Employees who have provided or personally worked in the field of conformity assessment in the past two years or whose first-degree relatives are directly responsible for this will not be assigned to the conformity assessment services of the relevant organization.

No commercial or partnership relationship will be entered into with organizations providing consultancy services in the sectors where services are provided. Any relationship with consultancy firms that threatens/endangers impartiality will be reviewed by the Impartiality Protection Committee and will be subject to risk assessment.

TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI does not provide consultancy/advisory services under any name to all real and legal persons and sectors to which audit, testing and conformity assessment services are provided. Furthermore, internal audit services are not provided to customers to whom conformity assessment services are provided.

Under no circumstances will there be a commercial relationship between TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI company partners and all management personnel and all real and legal persons and sectors to which audit, testing and conformity assessment services are provided, outside the scope of the service provided. TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI shall not provide any commercial relationship in the design, production, assembly, distribution or maintenance activities of the product to be certified or the process to be certified; shall not be involved in any way in design, implementation, operation or maintenance activities or in the design, implementation, provision or maintenance activities of the service it will document. In case of objection and complaint, TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI shall make a decision with its responsibility and assurance and ensure the satisfaction of its customers. TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI is fully responsible for the collection and verification of all information for the validation of the complaint and objection and for the execution of the entire process through this commitment.

The independence of the full-time and contracted personnel assigned within the scope of the service from the real and legal persons to whom it provides the service and their impartiality in their activities are undertaken by the top management. All conditions required for all personnel assigned in testing and reporting work to carry out their activities within the boundaries of professionalism and with technical and professional competence commensurate with the activity they perform have been and will be provided by TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI.

TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI shall notify the customer in advance of the information it will share with third parties. With the customer’s permission or as set out in the contract, it makes this information publicly available, or, except for information agreed upon between TÜV AUSTRIA DUBAI and the customer (such as for the purpose of responding to complaints), it treats all other information as proprietary and confidential.
